The Moscow team is in excellent form: in the past two and a half months, they have lost only twice in the Super League — at home to Chelbasket (83:89) and away to Temp (79:67). CSKA-2 continues to fight for first place to enter the playoffs as the sole leader.
CSKA-2 is the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 82.1 points per game. They also lead in steals (9.7 per game). The upcoming match will be a showdown between the league’s best offensive rebounding teams: Zenit-2 averages 14.1 offensive rebounds per game, while CSKA-2 records 13.4.
The key players for the visitors are guard Ilya Ermakov (11.8 points, 4.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.7 steals) and forward Ivan Zaitsev (11.6 points, 3.1 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.4 steals).
This match will be the sixth encounter between the two teams in Super League history. The previous five games ended in three wins for the blue-whites and two victories for the Moscow team.

Zenit-2 head coach Oliver Popovic shared his thoughts ahead of the match against CSKA-2:
In the last round, we suffered a very tough loss to Tambov. Now I expect a reaction from the players in a match against one of the league leaders — CSKA-2. We will face a very talented and high-quality team. I hope that motivation will be enough.
The game will take place on February 15 at the Zenit Basketball Academy (Severnaya Road, 12). Tip-off is at 18:00 St. Petersburg time. Entry is free for all fans. A live broadcast will be available on the Russian Basketball Federation's website.
