Zenit Wishes You a Happy New Year!
The past year, 2024, has been truly bright and unforgettable for us! We celebrated the club's 10th anniversary, filling it with resounding victories, spectacular games and emotions that will remain in our hearts forever. This year has been one of new opportunities and significant milestones. Zenit main squad made history by winning the Russian Cup for the first time and claiming the bronze medals of the VTB United League for the fifth time.
Alongside the main team, Zenit Basketball Academy teams also achieved notable successes. Zenit U19 won the gold medal of the Childrens Youth Basketball League (U19) for the second time in its history, and Zenit U21 once again triumphed in the VTB United Youth League. The year 2024 was especially remarkable for Zenit-2, competing in the Russian SuperLeague. The team, which had never made it to the playoffs before, came just one step away from the podium in the 2023/24 season and is currently sharing first place in the championship of the country's second-strongest division.
Another significant event was the successful debut of the blue-whites team in 3x3 basketball. The Zenit-Academy team, composed of the Club's trainees, became the silver medalist of the Russian Championship U23.
