Richard Solomon started his pro career with a D League team Oklahoma City Blue. In 2015, he moved to Japan to play for Alvark Tokyo, but a year later tried himself in the USA again with Atlanta Hawks. He was waived before the season started, so a few days later he found himself in Europe again – in October 2016, he moved to France to play for Gravelines-Dunkerque; in 2017, there was Turkey and Ushak.
He played good and once again moved to the home country to represent Oklahoma City Blue. Richard even signed a 10-day contract with the Thunder, but couldn’t stay at this level for long. Back is summer 2019, he returned to France to play for Dijon. He debuted in Champions League, but the season was interrupted by the coronavirus. Next summer, he moved back to Japan to play for Toyama Grouses, but eventually came back to Europe a year later as he signed with Bahcesehir. With this team, Solomon won FIBA Europe Cup.
Contract was signed for 2022-23 season.
