Carver played in the NCAA for five seasons but was not selected in the NBA draft. In 2020, he moved to Europe and signed a contract with the Slovenian club Hopsi Polzela, after which he joined the Russian Superleague with the Novosibirsk club. In March 2022, Carver moved to Zenit but left the club in May.
