Gustavo Ayon began his basketball journey in Mexico and later ventured to Spain. He initially faced challenges and went on loan to various teams until 2011 when he entered the NBA and played for three seasons. In the summer of 2014, he joined Real Madrid for the next five years before transitioning to Zenit, which was preparing for its EuroLeague debut.
