Zenit BC assistant coach Adamantios Panagiotopoulos returned to St. Petersburg from the the Greek National basketball Team, in which he was assistant to head coach Vassilis Spanoulis in the the 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers.
In two meetings of the February "window", the Greek National Team won two out of two - the Czech Republic (72:64) and the Netherlands (74:72) were defeated.
Thus, the Greeks topped the qualifying group F. The next games of the tournament will be held for the national team on November 21 and 24 — both against Great Britain.
Greece will also have to participate in the qualifiers for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The tournament will be held in the Greek Piraeus. Only one team from these six will participate in the Olympics: Greece, Egypt, the Dominican Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, New Zealand.
