Zenit Basketball Club celebrates its 12th anniversary!

On August 18, 2014, a team was founded in Saint Petersburg that carried on the winning traditions of the birthplace of Russian basketball.

Over the past 12 years, Zenit BC has gone from being a newcomer to the championship to becoming a winner of the VTB United League and the Russian Championship, as well as a two-time Superсup and National Cup champion.

We remember the Blue-White-Sky Blues’ first victories and their historic EuroLeague playoff appearance — in the strongest competition on the continent — as well as the records they set and the memorable moments of international competition.

The Blue-White-Sky Blues have established their own Basketball Academy and revived the Kondrashin and Belov Cup. Zenit has become one of the flagships of Russian basketball, preserving the achievements of the past and deeply honoring the invaluable personal contribution of its legends to the club’s present.

Twelve years is an important milestone. We are confident that together with the best fans in the best city in the world, we will write many more exciting chapters in the history of our beloved club.
