Zenit honored the heroes at the Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery
Today, May 8, on the eve of the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory, the management, coaches, and players of the Zenit Basketball Club system laid flowers at the Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery, honoring the memory of the heroes of Leningrad.

The Blue-White-Sky Blues basketball players once again took part in the annual joint event, which has already become a tradition. Together with the teams of the Zenit FC and SKA HC systems, the main team of Zenit BC also laid flowers — in full force, led by Dejan Radonjić. The players and coaching staff of the main team, as well as the coaches and products of the Blue-White-Sky Blues Basketball Academy, honored the memory of the heroes.

For the Zenit Basketball Club, it is an honor to take part in such a large-scale event, which allows us to once again acknowledge the heroism and willpower of the Soviet people in the fight against world fascism.

The Blue-White-Sky Blues continue their preparation for the VTB United League semifinals and will soon depart for Kazan for the first games of the series against UNICS.
