— I’m very happy. It’s an incredible feeling. I’ve achieved this goal for the second time, but with this group of guys — for the first time. Egor had an amazing game — huge credit to him, and to all the guys, the whole team, and the staff. It’s unbelievable!
— How did the game unfold from your perspective?
— We started really well, everyone was highly motivated. We’ve been working toward this for a long time — not just one or two seasons. This group has been playing together since the youth league days, so losing was never an option for us.
I also want to highlight the fans — they were incredible today. They practically carried us. The coach fired us up, and everyone gave maximum effort. We all understood that no extra motivation was needed. Everything came together perfectly.
