Dmitry Uzinskiy: "We need to play with aggression from the very start"
Zenit forward Dmitry Uzinskiy gave a comment ahead of the away game against Samara. The match against the Volga team will take place tomorrow, March 30. The game will start at 18:30 Saint Petersburg time.
— Dmitry, you missed some time due to injury. How are you feeling? How did the recovery go?
— The recovery went well. I hope the injury won’t bother me anymore. In Kazan, I played for a couple of minutes, and today I had a full training session with the team. I feel good.
— You also took part in a meeting with the pupils of the Zenit Basketball Children's Youth Academy. Share your impressions, how did the event go?
— Yes, it was fun to take a break and distract myself a bit from recovery procedures. We exchanged energy with the kids, held competitions, and tossed the ball around. You can see that the kids are full of energy and trying hard, and events like this are a pleasure to attend.
— The team has a tough away trip ahead — three consecutive away games. What are your expectations for these matches?
— Only victory. We have a Volga journey ahead, and we are going there to win.
— Speaking specifically about tomorrow’s match against Samara, which aspects of our game should we focus on?
— Don’t relax. We need to play our game from the very start, show why we came here, start with aggression, and finish positively, in the way we want.
