Noah Vonleh is a Zenit player!

November 20, 2025

Noah Vonleh has joined the Zenit BC. The agreement with the 30-year-old American center, who is also capable of playing power forward, runs through the end of the 2025/26 season.

Noah was born on August 24, 1995, in Salem, Massachusetts (USA). During his lone NCAA season, he represented the Indiana University basketball team. Averaging 11.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 27 minutes per game, Vonleh was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and third team All-Big Ten by the coaches and media. In the spring of 2014, he declared for the NBA Draft, where he was selected ninth overall by the Charlotte Hornets.

Noah spent one season with the Hornets, after which, from 2015 to 2023, he played for the Portland Trail Blazers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets, and Boston Celtics. In total, the center appeared in 373 NBA games, 11 of which were in the playoffs. Twice his teams (Denver and Boston) reached the NBA semifinals.

Vonleh’s best NBA season came with the Knicks. During the 2018/19 regular season, the American center played 68 games (57 starts), averaging 8.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 25 minutes per game.

In the 2021/22 and 2023/24 seasons, Vonleh played for the Chinese club Shanghai Sharks.

The Blue-White-Sky Blues are delighted to welcome Noah to the team and wish him great success as he begins the European chapter of his career!
