Zenit children's youth teams recognized their opponents in the CYBL Championship

The Russian Basketball Federation has announced the group compositions for the qualifying round of the Russian U19 Championship. In the new season of the Children's Youth Basketball League, the Blue-White-Sky Blues will once again be represented by three teams: Zenit U19, Zenit-2009 and Zenit-2010.

Zenit U19 will begin its title defense in Group E. In the qualifying stage, the team led by Dmitry Nikolaev will face SSOR №13 CYBL (Samara), Kupol Rodniki (Izhevsk), Novosibirsk, as well as SSOR Lokomotiv Kuban-CYBL and Lokomotiv Kuban-CYBL from Krasnodar.

Zenit-2009, as in the previous season, will be coached by Vladislav Shumkov, while Zenit-2010 will be led by Vadim Dodeus. Both teams will represent the Blue-White-Sky Blues in Group G. The opponents of the Zenit players will be PARMA-CYBL (Perm Krai), Kaliy Basket (Berezniki), Dynamo (Primorsky Krai), and ISKRA-OD-80 (Moscow).

The qualifying round of the CYBL Championship will take place in mid-October. A detailed schedule will be published later.
