Alexander Shcherbenev: "It’s going to be a very tough game"
Zenit guard Alexander Shcherbenev gave a comment ahead of the home match against Lokomotiv Kuban, which will take place in St. Petersburg tomorrow, May 16. The fifth game of the VTB United League semifinal series will begin at 19:00 local time. Tickets are available on the official website of the blue-whites.
— What are you expecting from tomorrow’s game?
— I think it’s going to be a very tough game because Lokomotiv has gained momentum. They’ve found their rhythm and got back into the series. But we have the home court advantage, and we have to defend our home, keep doing what we’ve done before. So, in front of our fans, we’ll do everything we can to win and take the lead in the series.
— Do you know where the emergency brake is on this train?
— Of course we do. We’ve already shown that twice at home, so I think we’ll learn the right lessons from the previous game and, with the support of our fans, we’ll win. We’ll do everything for the victory.
