As a player, Blagota Sekulić competed in Europe's top leagues, gaining extensive international experience. After retiring from professional basketball, he joined the coaching staff of the Montenegro national team. From 2023 to 2025, he served as an assistant coach at Spain's Murcia.
In the summer of 2026, Sekulić joined Duško Ivanović's coaching staff at Zenit.
