Zenit won Besiktas in a preseason tournament

On Wednesday, September 6th, our team faced off against the Turkish team Besiktas in the Gloria Cup preseason tournament.

Zenit took an early lead, ending the first quarter with an 8-point advantage. Despite a strong comeback attempt by Besiktas in the second quarter, Zenit responded swiftly, maintaining their lead and even extending it to 33-24 by halftime.

After the break, Besiktas showed a remarkable turnaround. Their defense tightened up, and their offense started to consistently score. However, Zenit held their composure and secured the victory with a final score of 70-66.

Standout performers included Kyle Kuric with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, Trent Frazier with 18 points and 3 assists, and Adrien Moerman with 11 points and 3 rebounds.
