Trey Thompkins III

Tompkins is already familiar with Russia — in 2014 he played in Nizhny Novgorod. Then he moved to the banks of the Volga in the status of a player who is trying to restart his career. Three years before that, Trey was selected in the NBA draft at number 37, but after one year in the league, he suffered a serious injury, from which he recovered for two seasons. The Los Angeles Clippers did not keep him in the lineup, and Tompkins went to Nizhny Novgorod after a two-year break. As a result, he performed so well both in the VTB United League and in the Euroleague that the following summer Tompkins was offered a contract by Real Madrid. At first it was a one-year agreement, but the American spent seven years in Madrid.
