Frankamp started his professional career in 2018 in Bulgaria, immediately after not being selected in the NBA draft. After a season with Beroe, he joined the Greek team Kretan Kings, and from there, he moved to the Spanish club Murcia. He spent one season in each of these clubs before transferring to Zenit in the summer of 2021.
