Zenit will face Tambov in 1/8 Russian Cup finals

The opponent of our team in the 1/8 finals of the Winline Russian Cup is the basketball club Tambov, participating in the Superleague championship. In the previous stage they passed the Rostov Bars-RSEU in two-leg clash.

Zenit has already met with Tambov in the Russian Cup in the 2015/16 season at the same stage. Then the blue-whites lost in the first meeting, but did not leave the opponent a chance in the second and advanced to the quarterfinals.

This time, our teams will also identify the winner in a two-match confrontation. The first game will be held on December 29 in Tambov, the second leg — on January 8 in St. Petersburg in Zenit Basketball Academy. Information about ticket sales will be announced later.
