Aleksander Sekulic: We had to show on the court that we are the better team

Zenit head coach Aleksander Sekuliс shared his thoughts after the road win over Pari Nizhny Novgorod — 84:64.

— We came here knowing we are the better team but we had to show in on the court. The way we played is something that we wanted to do. I believe they had some open shots they shouldn’t have but they missed them. They had a low score in the first half. In third quarter we were 28 point up and suddenly some players started to play for the stats instead of playing team basketball. This was the chance for domestic team to start playing better. They gained confidence and just became a little bit nervous in offence. We talked about it, changed things and finished the game in a way we wanted to finish.
