Andrey Semenov

Andrey Semenov was born on March 20, 1990, in St. Petersburg and is a graduate of the Kalinin sports school. At the age of 15, he moved to the United States, where he continued his basketball career. From 2008 to 2014, Semenov played in the NCAA for James Madison University, with which he made it to the March Madness tournament.
In Russia, he played for Saratov’s Avtodor, Moscow’s Runa, Ryazan, Yaroslavl’s Burevestnik, Yekaterinburg’s Uralmash, Barnaul, Novosibirsk, as well as St. Petersburg’s Spartak, with which he became a champion and a bronze medalist of the Super League-2. The last club in his playing career was Chelyabinsk's Chelbasket.
In the summer of 2025, Andrey Semenov joined the coaching staff of Zenit's farm team.
