Zenit-M is the 2023/24 VTB Youth Champion!

In the final match, our youth team faced CSKA Junior. The first half of the meeting was dictated by the blue-whites, but it did not work out much. But after the third ten minutes, which also remained with the Petersburgers, Zenit-M led by a marge of 9 points. In the last quarter, the Army team returned to the game and took the lead, but they could not cope with Egor Ryzhov in the end. The victory of Zenit-M — 77:74 — and the second victory of our youth team in the United Youth League in history!

In the match for the third place, Lokomotiv Kuban 2 beat rivals from MBA-Junior with a score of 73:56 and won bronze medals of the VTB United Youth League.

The symbolic five of the Final Eight included Klim Adaykin (MBA-Junior), Vsevolod Ishchenko (Lokomotiv Kuban 2), Egor Evstafiev (Zenit-M), Daniil Klyuchenkov (CSKA Junior) and Nikita Sadikov (CSKA Junior).

Egor Ryzhov from our youth team was recognized as the MVP of the tournament, and Artem Komogortsev, the mentor of our team, was the best coach.
