Vince Hunter was named the best Defensive player of the season

Zenit center Vince Hunter was named the best Defensive player of the 2023/24 VTB United League regular season. He received the award at the fifth match of the quarterfinal series against Uralmash from the hands of the VTB League CEO Ilona Korstin.

This season, the big man appeared in 41 games for Zenit. He covered opponents' shots 0.8 times per match on average and was an important element in the defensive formations of the blue-whites coaching staff. With Vince's direct participation, our team's defense became the best in the championship.

Congratulations to our player on this award! For Hunter, this is the first individual prize. In 2022 Jordan Mickey won the same award.
