Zenit cruised past Loko

The penultimate match of the United League's regular season saw our team playing in Krasnodar against Lokomotiv Kuban. A victory in this game would have guaranteed our team at least third place before the playoffs, while a defeat would have left Kuban's chances for third place open – though not guaranteed. In general, it was better for Zenit to win to increase their chances of home court advantage in the second round of the playoffs.

Our team performed excellently in the first three quarters, earning a 7-point lead for themselves. In the final stretch of the game, the hosts attempted to close the gap and succeeded to some extent, but the endgame still belonged to our team – 91:86.
