Zenit secured the first victory of the season

After a setback in the first round against Uralmash, our team headed to Samara to claim their first win in the new season of the VTB United League. Zenit faced off against the basketball club Samara, which had secured a 20-point lead victory over Enisey in the first round.

The entire game on the court was a fierce battle, even though Zenit pulled ahead by 19 points in the first half. Despite this, the Samara team stayed in the game and managed to tie the score at the end of the third quarter. The decisive shots for Zenit came in the middle of the final quarter, when Frazier, Karasev, and Moerman made three-pointers. This secured Zenit's victory with a score of 84:76.

The next game will be at home against CSKA on October 8th.
