After going undrafted in the 2009 NBA Draft, Ryan Toolson moved to Europe and started his professional career. It wasn't all smooth sailing for him, but he managed to rise to a high level. Through various clubs in Italy and Turkey, he was able to showcase his skills and eventually signed a contract with Spanish club Gran Canaria. From there, he moved to Unicaja Malaga, and later to St. Petersburg and Zenit.
