Evgeny Voronov began his career in Mineralnye Vody with Lokomotiv, then moved with the team to Rostov-on-Don. Subsequently, he played for Dynamo, CSK VVS, and UNICS, returned to Samara, then moved to Moscow where he played for Dynamo, CSKA, and Triumph.
By this point, Voronov had already become a legend in Russian basketball and an Olympic medalist. Before joining Zenit, Voronov passed through Lokomotiv Kuban and UNICS, eventually becoming the captain of the team in our club.
