Xavi Pascual: "We need to improve a lot"
— First of all, big, big thanks to all the fans that they work with us in this nice game with this nice atmosphere. I think it was one big game, almost level of Euroleague. With two teams trying to win the game, trying to play as better defence as possible, as better offence as possible, and going point by point, offence by offence, defence by defence, trying to win the game. For our side, in general, we have to be happy, we had only four turnovers in all the game. And they have only ten assists, so it means that our job was very good. And for another side, one game in the second quarter, probably we should go to the halftime with a little bit more advantage. And after that, in the first action of the third quarter, Vince Hunter became injured and we lost a little bit at the moment. But after that, the game became one tough game until the end. It was this moment that we start, we were losing by two points, but the team was continuing in the right direction and finally, we could change the game and to win the game. Regarding the injury, the game was very, very difficult. But we continued to move in the right direction and you can see what we have come to.
— Are you satisfied with the team's performance this season? What did the team add compared to the beginning of the season? And is there still a room for improvement?
— This is a long way. We are at the beginning of December only. We need to improve a lot. Still the team is going up. But for sure, we are much better than in the beginning of the season. Defensively, we improve a lot, in general. Offensively, every day also we are playing better. But we need to improve more if we want to win the championship.
— So, just four turnovers overall and zero turnovers in the first half, is this a cosmic concentration.
— Yeah, we did a very good job. The team practiced very well all the week. We were in a very good concentration. We had more possessions because no turnovers and this was crucial for the game.
— Andres Pistiolis said that he has two irreplaceable players, that if they were removed from the team, it would be the same as losing two fingers. Do you have such players and with what organs could you compare them if you had to lose them?
— For me, the team is only one, there's only one body, if I don't have some of them, I will die, so I cannot lose no one.
—The question about Vince. Can he walk by himself? Does he need help?
—No, he can walk. I am a little bit optimistic.
