Georgy Zhbanov: "The MBA did well, they fought with us until the end"

The guard of the blue-whites team, Georgy Zbanov, commented on the result of the game against MBA-MAI (68:89) during the post-match press conference and evaluated the first part of the regular season.

— First of all, thanks to MBA for this game. Secondly, their position in the standings doesn’t reflect the true state of affairs. They did well, fought with us until the end. For three quarters, they played almost on equal terms. But I think we are, of course, a stronger team, so we brought the matter to an end. I wish the guys good luck, everything is ahead for them.

— How would you assess your team’s start to the season?

— Two losses that could have been avoided. But we have what we have. We are moving forward in second place. Not too bad, in my opinion. So, we will keep striving to reach first place and win every game. That’s our only goal.
