Xavier Moon: "I was like, they're gonna have to catch me"
— First of all, congrats. What was the key for the win today?
— We knew it was going to be a tough game. Obviously, playing on the road, it's a little cold in here. Didn't get much sleep last night, man, because it was hot in the hotel. So we knew it was going to be a tough game, but we rallied together, man, and got the win, so we're happy for that.
— What can you tell about the atmosphere here in this palace?
— Man, they've got great fans. They play hard. Obviously, they have all their players now. So they're a completely different team than we played in the first time. But like I said, man, we came out we handle business in the second half and got the win.
— What do you think? It was so nervous starting from the second quarter all the time. It was a very nervous atmosphere on court.
— Seemed like we couldn't get a stop every time we come down to score. They came down to score too. So we just had to buckle down on defense get a couple stops and then put them away late in the fourth quarter.
— Please tell us what did Xavi say in a locker after the win?
— Obviously happy for the win. We got some things we need to clean up both offensively and defensively. Tomorrow off and then we'll get back to work on. Tuesday.
— So we should keep on working and just two games in a row out before before the short holidays. How to continue to win on road?
— I'm taking it one day at a time. It starts in practice locking in on our opponents and just being ready for every game. Everybody not gonna have a good game every game so we got to depend on everybody.
— And finally we think that one of the best moments of this game was four seconds before the end, when you took the ball and run through the whole court. What was that? Was that a plan?
— It wasn't a plan, but when I got the ball and turned around, I was like, they're gonna have to catch me. So I've been doing that since I was little.
