Oliver Popovic: "We played against an experienced team"

The head coach of the blue-whites second team, Oliver Popovic, shared his thoughts on the recent away game against Kupol-Rodniki (72:67).

First of all, congratulations to Izhevsk on the win. Overall, we defended well, except for the end of the first quarter. The game was close, and we didn’t allow more than 20 points in each quarter, except again for the first one, where we lost concentration towards the end. We had major problems with fouls. Today, we played against an experienced team, and compared to them, aside from two players, we are basically a youth team. In the last three games, we scored a lot, but in this one, I believe we had about a 16-17% three-point shooting percentage, and even fewer attempts than usual. These games happen. Apart from the first quarter, the team did well. We had a chance, but something was missing today.
