Zenit U19 heads to a friendly tournament in Krasnodar

From September 13 to 15, the pre-season youth tournament Loko Cup 2024 will take place at the Lokomotiv-Kuban MTC training facility in Krasnodar. In addition to the St. Petersburg team, the hosts "SSOR-Loko-CYBL", "Parma-CYBL", and "Nizhny Novgorod CYBL" will also participate in the tournament. The teams will play each other once in a single round.

The Loko Cup will serve as the second test for the youth team in preparation for the 2024/25 season. Previously, the blue-whites played a series of friendly matches in Veliky Novgorod, defeating "Yugra-Junior" from Khanty-Mansiysk (109:49) and the local "Ilmer-Sparta" team (89:72).

Under the guidance of Dmitry Nikolaev, the Zenit U19 roster includes the following players: guards Semyon Ananin (born 2008), Nikita Kiselev (born 2007), Alexander Zamansky (born 2008), Anton Suikonen (born 2009), Nikolay Sevostyanov (born 2009); forwards Vladimir Ershov (born 2007), Danil Razumny (born 2007), Mikhail Padius (born 2007), Matvey Kozhaev (born 2007); centers Kirill Belov (born 2008), Denis Silaev (born 2008) and Daniil Kharlamov (born 2008).
