Zenit U21 start the regular season with a home game against Samara
A total of 13 clubs will participate in the tournament this season. In addition to the St. Petersburg team, the competition will feature CSKA-Junior (Moscow), Lokomotiv-2 Sports School (Krasnodar), MBA-Junior (Moscow), Khimki-2 Sports Training Center (Moscow Region), PARMA-M (Perm Region), Uralmash-2 (Yekaterinburg), Samara-2 (Samara Region), UNICS-2 (Kazan), Pari Nizhny Novgorod-2 (Nizhny Novgorod), Avtodor-2 (Saratov), Enisey-2 (Krasnoyarsk Region), and MINSK-2 (Minsk). Each team will play two home and two away games against all other teams.
The regular season will end on April 9, 2025, after which the top eight teams will compete in the spring playoffs, starting with best-of-three quarterfinal series. The first games will be held at the venues of the teams that finished 5th to 8th, with the second and, if necessary, third games taking place at the home courts of the teams ranked 1st to 4th. The four winners will then compete in the Final Four, where the champion of the VTB United Youth League will be crowned.
