Zenit held a training session at the Academy under the guidance of Xavi Pascual

Zenit players held their first practice, which took place at the Zenit Basketball Academy on Monday, August 19. First team players practiced after vacation under the guidance of Xavi Pascual and the entire coaching staff.

Players will prepare for the season in St. Petersburg until August 25. On Saturday Zenit will play a friendly match against Russian Superleague member Tambov. This game will take place on the basketball Academy court behind closed doors. The Club will inform fans about the result of the game.

Zenit will travel to summer training camp in Turkey on Monday, August 26. Zenit will prepare for the season in Antalya for the third straight year. There the team will play several friendly matches and then will return to St. Petersburg on Monday, September 2.

From September 5 to 6, the annual Vladimir Kondrashin and Alexander Belov Cup will be held in St. Petersburg at the CSC Arena. Zenit, UNICS, Pari Nizhny Novgorod and MBA Moscow will participate in the tournament for the second year in a row.

From September 11 to 14 Zenit will take part in the VTB United League Supercup. The fourth Supercup will take place in Moscow at the VTB Arena. Zenit, CSKA, UNICS, Lokomotiv Kuban, Crvena Zvezda and Besiktas will participate in the competition.

The traditional presentation of the team will take place on Tuesday, September 17. The location and format of the event will be announced additionally. Ticket sales information will be published in the near future.
