Thomas Heurtel leaves Zenit
Thomas Heurtel joined Zenit in September 2022. Over two seasons in St. Petersburg, the guard played 90 games, scoring 1211 points and setting a club record with 699 assists.
On November 24, 2022, in a match against Samara, Heurtel dished 16 assists to his teammates, setting a personal career record for assists. With Zenit, he became the winner of the Supercup and the Kondrashin and Belov Cup, a finalist in the Russian Cup, and a bronze medalist in the United League.
As a player of Zenit, Thomas Heurtel was named Rookie of the Year in the VTB League and twice the Player of the Month in the championship.
In the recently concluded 2023/24 season, the point guard participated in 42 games, averaging 13.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game.
