Sergey Toropov leaves Zenit

The term of the agreement between the blue-whites and Russian center Sergey Toropov has come to an end. The player will continue his career at another club.
Sergey spent two seasons with Zenit, playing in 65 official games. During this time, Toropov became a two-time winner of the VTB United League Supercup and the Kondrashin and Belov Cup, the winner of the Russian Cup, as well as the owner of the bronze medals of the United League.
In the 2023/24 VTB League season, the center took part in 18 matches, averaging 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. In the Russian Cup, Sergey played in six matches, scoring 6.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 1.2 apg.
