Zenit vs CSKA. Semifinals preview. Game 2

After losing the opening game of the semi-finals, our team is determined to tied the series. Game 2 will take place in St. Petersburg at CSC Arena on May 7th, Tuesday, 7:15PM.

CSKA looked fresher, as they had more time to prepare, and quickly ran into a breakaway. Zenit played back this gap and took the lead in the second quarter, but then the visitors accelerated again and no longer allowed our team to lead the match.

After the game, Sergey Karasev said that the blue-whites played too softly and needed to act much more confidently, especially on their own floor — after all, Zenit did not try to be on the second line at the end of the regular season for this. Xavi Pascual shared that three players at once — Kyle Kuric, Vince Hunter and Josh Carlton — suffered injuries of varying severity. And Karasev himself played on injections.

Anyway, Pascual assured fans that in 48 hours the team will be ready for the second game. Even less is left!
