Zenit-UOR #1 became the 2023/24 CYBL Champions!

Our youth team Zenit-UOR #1 defeated their peers from CSKA-CYBL 76:68 in the final match and won the gold medals of the championship for the second time in their history. This happened for the first time in 2022 — it is noteworthy that even then the Final Eight was held in St. Petersburg.

Thus, the blue-whites took revenge from the army team for last year's defeat in the final of the CYBL Championship — then the red-blues turned out to be stronger, 84:81. There was no doubt about Zenit UOR #1's superiority this season — the victory in the final was the fifth victory over CSKA CYBL this season.

Zenit guard Egor Evstafiev was recognized as the most valuable player of the Final Eight. In the decisive match of the season against CSKA, Egor became the top scorerof the meeting, recording 29 points (8 3FG).

Also, Zenit-UOR #1 forward Timofey Vashchenko entered the symbolic top five of the competition.

In total, Roman Knyazev's warriors have a series of 18 consecutive wins (and 23 wins in 24 matches overall). Congratulations to our reserve team!
