Zenit won a thriller in Perm

The first challenge for our team in 2024 was a meeting with Parma in Perm. The team went there almost in full strength, including Sergey Karasev, who was ready and eager to fight – this was not a surprise for those who saw the cup match against Tambov. However, in the United League, our forward last played in early December against CSKA.

The game turned out to be incredibly tough; both teams led at certain moments, ultimately reaching overtime. In the extra time, both teams had a chance to win, but Vince Hunter and his two blocks allowed Zenit to take the victory from Perm – 84:79.
