Zenit beat Astana at home

This week, Zenit is hosting two home matches, and the first one took place on Thursday, December 21. On the birthday of basketball, the Kazakhstani team Astana visited St. Petersburg. This year, Astana has already achieved more victories than in the entire previous season and is aiming not only to avoid missing the playoffs but also to secure a spot in the top six.

However, Astana couldn't defeat Zenit. The first half of the game was relatively equal on the court, but in the third quarter, Zenit managed to pull ahead by 18 points and comfortably secured the victory – 95:79.
