The coaches of Zenit's reserve teams have been determined

August 16, 2023
Anton Yudin, a well-known Russian specialist, will head the Zenit-2 team competing in the Superleague. He will replace Boris Livanov, who is leaving his post due to the expiration of his contract.

For the past 9 years, Yudin has been part of the coaching staff of CSKA's main team, working alongside Dimitris Itoudis and Emil Rajkovic. During this time, the coach won the VTB United League championship 6 times, the Russian championship 6 times, and also secured two Euroleague victories. Yudin also has experience working as an assistant coach for Spartak St. Petersburg and the Russian youth national team.

The Zenit-M team, competing in the VTB Youth United League, will continue to be coached by Artem Komogortsev. Under Komogortsev's guidance last season, our youth team secured third place in the Final Four, defeating CSKA's youth team with a score of 2-0 in the quarterfinals.

Remaining in his position is Roman Knyazev, who leads Zenit-UOR №1, and once again, they will compete in the Children-Youth Basketball League (CYBL). In the previous season, the team reached the CYBL finals for the second consecutive time, demonstrating their strength as one of the strongest youth teams in the country.
