Zenit and Dejan Radonjić part ways

Zenit Basketball Club and head coach Dejan Radonjić have mutually agreed to terminate the coach’s contract, along with assistant coach Saša Kosović.

The Montenegrin specialist took over Zenit during the 2025/26 season. Under his leadership, the team played 31 games and recorded 20 wins.

Together with Dejan, the Blue-White-Sky Blues reached the WINLINE Basket Cup Final Four, finished third in the VTB United League regular season, and came one step away from reaching the Finals.

Zenit Basketball Club thanks Dejan Radonjić for stepping in during a difficult moment of the season, as well as for his professionalism and work with the team.

Rostislav Vergun has been appointed interim head coach of Zenit for the remainder of the season.
