Dejan Radonjić: "We had a different approach defensively"
— As I said after the first game, it was 0-1, now it's 1-1. We have to games in St. Petersburg. It will be a tough series for sure. It was a totally different game. The first game was offensively really attractive, we also had a good chance to win, but Kazan played better than us. Today defensively we did good job except this 5-6 minutes in the first quarter. We just need to be ready to analyze this game and to prepare team for the next game.
— What are the main differences between the first and the second game?
— As I said first game was very attractive offensively — so many threes. Also so many good things offensively today. As you this result, its a different game for both sides, I can say. If you ask me about us, we had a different approach defensively. As I said in the beginning some minutes were not good. In this back-to-back games it's not easy to have enough energy, enough focus to play all fourty minutes against such a good team like UNICS. We analyzed the first game and talked what we need to have in the game today. I think mostly it was good. In this series there will be a lot of games and you need to find the way to win.
— Previous game Luka Šamanić scored 28 points, today he played just 8 minutes. What's the reason?
— Because I think it was good for a team. Yes, he played a really great first game, he also played good tonight but probably fouls is the reason why he didn't play more. And that's it.
— Is Jalen Rejnolds a big problem for you?
— For me personally not, but for the team yes (smiles). He's a great player. It's not easy to play against him, I can say. On this position he is one of the best not only in the VTB League but also in Europe.
— There are rumours that Ismaël Bako might play in Game 4 in St. Petersburg. What can you say about it?
— Sorry, I can't discuss rumours (smiles). I cannot say exactly today how he is. We'll see the day after tomorrow. If he is ready for a practice first of all and then to discuss it. But right now I can't give you an answer.
