Dejan Radonjić: "It was a really great series"

Zenit head coach Dejan Radonjić commented after the road win over Uralmash (61:78) in Game 4 of the 2025/26 VTB United League quarterfinals. The St. Petersburg team closed the series 3-1 and advanced to the semifinals, where they will face UNICS Kazan.

— Congrats to my players for this game, for the win and the end of this series, now we are in the semifinal. It was a really great series, great quarterfinals games. We lost the first game at home and then after that it was not easy to come back and to do everything: play good enough to win three times, but we did this. We did this against a great opponent. I would like to use this opportunity to congrats Uralmash with everything what they did, how they played all games against us, to the opposite team coach, my colleague also, he did a great job, also players.

Now, of course, we need to analyze again all games and to use some space to be ready for the semifinal. The game was tough. The beginning for us was good. Then there are so many things we can discuss about that. But in the end, in the last 10 minutes we did a great job defensively and this is the reason why we won this game.
