Georgy Zhbanov: "It will be a completely different game"
Zenit forward Georgy Zhbanov shared his comments ahead of the home game against BETCITY PARMA. The match against the team from the Urals will take place tomorrow, March 10, on the court of CSC Arena. The game will start at 20:00, and tickets are still available on the official website of the Blue-White-Sky Blues.
— You’re playing in two days after the game against UNICS. How is the recovery and preparation for the home game going when there isn’t much time?
— Yes, after such an energy-consuming game like the one against UNICS, there are obviously very few days to recover. But the coaching and medical staff are doing everything to make sure the recovery process goes properly. PARMA are a serious opponent, in February we won away in the closing minutes. But now we have a different lineup, and we play in a completely different way — more as a team. We improve with every practice. So this will be a completely different game compared to the one we played in Perm.
— We know how strong the support in Perm can be. What kind of support do you expect at the home arena?
— We expect full stands at every game. Unfortunately, not everyone always manages to come. But we’re waiting for everyone — we hear everyone, all our beloved fans. Thank you for your support. And while I have the chance, I’d like to once again congratulate our wonderful women on the recent International Women’s Day!
