Zenit turns 11!

Eleven years ago — on August 18, 2014 — Zenit Basketball Club was founded.

In its early days, it was a separate department within the structure of CJSC Zenit FC, but over time it became a legal entity known as LTD Zenit Basketball Club.

Last year, Zenit BC celebrated its first milestone anniversary — 10 years.

In its relatively short history, Zenit has already managed to win the championship title in the VTB United League and the Russian Championship, claim the National Cup, become a two-time Supercup winner, secure the revived Kondrashin and Belov Cup four times, establish its own Basketball Academy, debut in the EuroLeague, and reach the playoffs of the continent’s top competition. Over eleven years, Zenit has gained the true love of fans and supporters of the Blue-White-Sky Blues and won the backing of the people of St. Petersburg.

In the upcoming season, fans will see a renewed Zenit, which traditionally sets the highest goals for itself. In June, for the first time in its history, the Blue-White-Sky Blues claimed silver in the VTB United League, just one step away from repeating their championship triumph. In the new season, the club from the banks of the Neva will be led by Aleksander Sekulic. A new chapter begins together. We promise the team will give its all to delight fans with bright and selfless basketball.

The team and the club eagerly await the new season to present themselves in their updated lineup to their supporters. We play basketball for you, and soon we will meet again at the games of the Vladimir Kondrashin and Aleksandr Belov Cup. Together, we can achieve long-awaited victories and continue making history.
