Alexey Shved leaves Zenit

Guard Alexey Shved is leaving Zenit upon the expiration of his contract.

One of the most experienced and successful Russian players joined the Blue-White-Sky Blues in January 2025 and helped the St. Petersburg club win the regular season for the second time in its history, as well as claim silver medals in the VTB United League and the Russian Championship. Together with Alexey, Zenit set a League record for consecutive victories — 25.

In the recently concluded season, the 36-year-old guard appeared in 33 games, averaging 9.0 points, 5.1 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 0.5 steals in 20 minutes on the court.
