Thank you for the trophies, records and history. Thank you for everything, Xavi!
Head coach of the blue-whites team Xavi Pascual is leaving the club upon the expiration of his contract.
Over more than five years with Zenit, the Spanish specialist led the team in 308 games, achieving 215 victories. He holds the club's record for the most games as head coach.
Pascual’s record includes 222 games in the VTB United League (including four matches against Zelena Gura and Kalev in the 2021/22 season), 65 games in the EuroLeague, 11 in the VTB Super Cup, and 10 in the Russian Cup.

Together with Xavi, Zenit claimed the most important trophies in its history: the VTB United League championship, the Russian Championship and Cup, two VTB Superсups, and four Kondrashin and Belov Cups. In his first full season, the Spanish coach led the Saint Petersburg team to the EuroLeague quarterfinals, coming just one step short of the Final Four.
Pascual was twice named Coach of the Year. He also ranks among the top three coaches by the number of games in the VTB United League.

In his final season, Xavi led the team to its second-ever victory in the regular season, set a League record with a 25-game winning streak, and fought for the championship title with the team until the very end.
Zenit Basketball Club thanks Xavi Pascual for these five years and his outstanding contribution to the development of the club. His professionalism, leadership, and uncompromising dedication will forever remain a part of our history. Thank you for the golden pages we wrote together!
