CSKA vs Zenit. Game 6 preview
Context
The previous matchup, held at the CSC Arena in St. Petersburg, ended in a painful loss for Zenit. In the final quarter, Xavi Pascual’s squad had a 13-point lead and seemed to have the win in the bag. However, CSKA rallied just in time and turned the game around. A few missed rebounds and turnovers proved decisive in the outcome of Game 5.

CSKA’s comeback was entirely thanks to the efforts of their three key players: Jean-Charles sparked the run and delivered a clutch block, Trimble scored from all over the court, and Avramoviс not only put up big points but also added four steals. The performance of this trio was undoubtedly the X-factor in the visitors' victory.
For Zenit, the top scorer once again was Dwayne Bacon, who put up 24 points. The American forward became the first player in VTB United League history to surpass the 1000-point mark in a single season. There’s no doubt that Dwayne will continue his stellar play in the Moscow.
Head-to-head
CSKA currently leads the finals series 3-2. For Zenit, only a win in tomorrow’s game will suffice to force a decisive Game 7 back in St. Petersburg.

Quotes
Zenit head coach Xavi Pascual ahead of Game 6:
First of all, we have perhaps the most important game of the season ahead of us. We need to play the way we used to during the season. We need to be focused and not lose concentration from the first to the last second and not allow too many turnovers. Be solid both in defense and offence. In that case we can count on a favorable outcome. Our goal is to return the series to Saint Petersburg.
