Zenit-2 will play fourth semifinal game
The reserve team of the blue-whites continues preparing for the fourth game of the Fonbet Super League 2024/25 semifinal series. In the previous matchup against Temp-SUMZ, Oliver Popovic’s squad secured an 83:79 victory, keeping their chances of reaching the finals alive and extending the series by at least one more game.
All 40 minutes of the third game were controlled by the St. Petersburg team — Zenit-2 never allowed their opponent to take the lead, confidently maintaining an advantage that at one point reached 16 points.

Nevertheless, the end of the game turned out to be tense. Several players picked up four fouls each, forcing the team to play more cautiously, especially on defense. As a result, Temp-SUMZ gained a noticeable edge on the offensive boards — the visitors grabbed 19 offensive rebounds in total, which allowed them to stay in the game and take it into clutch time. However, in the final moments, the St. Petersburg team managed to hold on for the win.
Now, in order to take the series back to Revda and force a decisive Game 5, Oliver Popovic’s team will need to earn another very tough victory.
The fourth game will take place on April 24 at the Zenit Basketball Academy (Severnaya Road, 12). Tip-off is scheduled for 20:40 St. Petersburg time. Admission is free for all fans. The game will be streamed on the website of the Russian Basketball Federation.
