Igor Volkhin is out for the rest of the season

Blue-whites forward Igor Volkhin,  who plays for Pari Nizhny Novgorod on loan, will miss the rest of the 2024/25 season due to an injury sustained on April 12 in a game against PARMA.

Following medical examinations, the 27-year-old basketball player was diagnosed with an injury to the bones of his right forearm.

Yesterday, April 13, Igor underwent successful surgery in Saint Petersburg, and he is expected to begin training again in about a month and a half. His entire recovery process will be supervised by the medical and coaching staff of BC Zenit.

Volkhin played 14 games in the VTB United League regular season for Pari NN, averaging 8.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1 assist, 0.6 steals and 0.5 blocks in 25 minutes per match. He also appeared in 16 games for Zenit during the first half of the season.
